Non-Surgical Brow Lift in Singapore

Non-surgical brow lift treatments are fast and pain-less solutions for droopy eye brows and eye lids.

Brow lifting is achievable without surgery using 2 established types of medical treatments: energy-based devices (eg. Ultraformer HIFU, EndyMed iFine RF) and injectables (eg. Botox and Fillers).

Let’s find out more FAQs, Reviews and Prices of brow lifting treatments in Singapore.

What is a brow lift?

Brow lift treatments aim to reverse the effects of aging and gravity on your eye brow and upper eye lids. Brow lift treatments can range from energy-based devices (eg. Ultraformer HIFU, EndyMed iFine RF), injectables (eg. Botox and Fillers) and, lastly, surgery.

Non-surgical brow lift treatments can create a more subtle but similar effect as a surgical brow lift. This is ideal for patients who have mild to moderate severity of droopy upper eye lids or heavy brows.

Benefits of non-surgical brow lift in Singapore

The key benefits of non-surgical brow lifts are: considerably less invasive and less costly procedure than surgical brow lifts.

Instead of surgically reconstructing the brow region, this non-surgical, non-invasive treatments reshape and reform the face into a more youthful appearance.

How does HIFU Brow Lift work?

HIFU technology has been used for lifting sagging brows and eye lids for close to 10 years.

The key benefit of using HIFU is that it is a completely non-invasive treatment for lifting droopy brows.

Common brands of HIFU include Ulthera and Ultraformer.

Ultraformer 3 HIFU is one of few HIFU devices that has a specialised 2.0mm slim handpiece for precise collagen stimulation around your eye region.

HIFU stimulates collagen production to tighten the delicate skin around your eyes and to slow down the effect of gravity on your eye brows.

The effects of HIFU brow lifting treatments last between 6 to 18 months.

How does Radio-Frequency (RF) Brow Lift work?

RF technology has been used for brow lifting for more than 15 years. Common brands of RF technology include Thermage and EndyMed.

EndyMed RF harnesses 3Deep technology to deliver RF energy painlessly. With the specialised iFine handpiece, EndyMed RF tightens skin around the eye area.

EndyMed RF is used as a maintenance treatment every 2-3 months in between yearly HIFU treatments.

For more brow lifting effects, you might want to combine these energy-based brow lifting treatment with light touches of injectables like Botox and Fillers.

How does Botox Brow Lift work?

Botox brow lift works by expert placement of small amounts of neurotoxin around your eye region.

There are certain muscles that hold the eyebrows down, especially the muscle surrounding the eye, known as orbicularis oculi.

Through careful placement of anti-wrinkle injections into the muscles, eyebrows are released from this downward pulling action and the forehead muscles (frontalis muscle) are able to lift your eyebrows up. This typically leads to a few millimetres in eyebrow height, creating the appearance of a lifted brow.

To elevate the lateral brow, the outer corner of the eye muscle may be weakened with the use of 1-2 precisely placed Botox injections.

The optimal location for injection is determined visually by asking the patient to frown aggressively. This allows the doctor to determine the maximum point of brow contraction.

To elevate the middle part of your eye brows, the forehead muscles directly above and between the eyebrows will be targeted.

Botox brow lift usually requires 16-24 units of Botox.

This treatment will also help to eliminate wrinkles around your eyes and forehead while achieving the desired change in brow height or shape.

How does Dermal Filler help with brow lifting?

Dermal fillers are injected just below the outer part of the eyebrow to give structural support to the brow and elevating the bony orbital rim around the eyebrows.

This approach is particularly useful for mature-aged patients who are experiencing volume loss in their brow area.

Hence, small amounts of dermal filler can create structural support for a brow lift.

What are the side-effects of HIFU Brow lift?

The side-effects of HIFU brow lift are temporary redness and slight discomfort during the treatment.

What are the side-effects of Botox Brow lift?

The side effects of a botox brow lift are pain at the injection site, swelling, redness and bruising.

Who is the ideal candidate for a non-surgical brow lift?

The ideal candidate for a non-surgical brow lift is one who has better skin quality and less tissue laxity.

This is a good option for individuals who are not ready for permanent, surgical treatment options.

Non-surgical brow lifts are not recommended for patients looking to address skin laxity in the forehead or for patients with excessively droopy eyelids as Botox can potentially worsen this issue.

Does brow-lift botox injection hurt?

We use the smallest possible needles to deliver your treatment. In addition, we use numbing cream, ice packs and vibration distraction devices. Most people find it very tolerable, at the most like small mosquito bites.

How often will I need maintenance treatments?

Longevity of results can vary from patient to patient. Generally most patients have their botox brow lift treatments every 4-6 months, HIFU brow lift treatments every 6-12 months, fillers every 12 months and Endymed RF every 2-3 months to maintain their results.

What are the differences between HIFU, RF, Botox and Fillers for Brow lifting?

  • Non-invasive brow lift treatments

HIFU – Medical-Grade (performed by doctor), treatments every 6-12 months.

RF – performed by trained therapists, treatments every 2-3 months.

  • Minimally invasive brow lift treatments

Botox – Treatments every 4-6 months.

Fillers – Treatments every 12 months.

Is there downtime for non-surgical brow lift treatments?

There is no downtime for non-invasive brow lift treatments like Ultraformer HIFU and Endymed RF.

There is minor downtime related to injections for minimally invasive brow lift treatments that involve injections. We advise patients to set aside at least 2 days for recovery from potential bruises or swelling related to injections.

Price of Non-Surgical Brow Lift Treatments in Singapore

Ultraformer 3 HIFU for Eyes: from $500.

EndyMed RF for Eyes: from $450.

Botox for Brow Lift: from $500.

Filler for Brow Lift: from $800.

When can I see the results of my brow lift treatments?

For Filler brow lifts, results are immediate. This is because fillers can volumise the eye region immediately after being injected just above the brow.

For Botox brow lifts, results take 3-7 days. Botox slowly weakens the depressor muscles over days.

For HIFU and RF brow lifts, immediate lifting can be seen after treatment due to heat which tightens collagen immediately. The collagen stimulating effects of HIFU continue over the next weeks and months. HIFU results are best seen after 2-4 months.
