Dr Boey received his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery from National University of Singapore followed by his Ministry of Health-approved Certificates of Competence in Aesthetics.
His Journey
After graduating from National University of Singapore, Dr Boey’s journey in Aesthetics brought him to esteemed institutions such as Harvard Medical School, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, National Skin Centre and Queen Mary University of London.
Having trained in diverse cities like Seoul, London and New York, he is equally familiar in treating Asian and Caucasian patients.
His Focus
Dr Boey’s practice is 100% focused on non-surgical aesthetics.
He offers the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive treatments like non-surgical face lifts and acne scar treatments respectively.
His Approach
Dr Boey approaches every patient’s face holistically from the balanced perspectives of a scientist and an artist.
With his guiding principle of “Less is More“, he adopts a minimalist approach to achieve natural and tasteful results.
His Passion
Dr Boey believes that teaching and research are the best ways to stay at the forefront of the industry.
As a certified physician trainer for global aesthetic companies (like Galderma, Sinclair & Vivacy), he has trained hundreds of doctors and dentists across Asia.
He has published in academic journals such as Dermatologic Surgery (journal of American Society of Dermatologic Surgery) and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (journal of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).
He has presented his research work on the international stage at World Congress of Dermatology and IMCAS World Congress.
His insights are regularly featured on magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Her World and The Peak.
He has also provided expert opinion for skincare brands like Kiehl’s, La Roche-Posay, L’Oreal and Skinceuticals.
His Practice
Being forward-looking, his practice was one of the earliest adopters of currently mainstream technologies like PicoPlus laser and Regenera Activa hair loss treatment.
He sees a diverse group of local patients ranging from teenagers to C-suite executives.
Equipped with one of the most comprehensive clinic set-ups in South-East Asia, he also treats international patients from other Asian countries as well as the expatriate community in Singapore.
